BRILL MOTOR SPEEDWAY ADDED TO AMERIFLEX / OCRS JUNE SCHEDULE
AmeriFlex / OCRS Sprint Series Adds Brill Motor Speedway To June Schedule

Tulsa OK (May 9, 2015) - Officials from the AmeriFlex / OCRS sprint car series and the Brill Motor Speedway in Meeker Oklahoma have inked Saturday night June 27th as the date for the roving sprint car bandits to ride the red clay of the 3/8-mile track. This makes the 26th date on the AmeriFlex / OCRS 2015 schedule.
Brill Motor Speedway is reopening under the direction of owner/promoter Mark Brill who decided to reopen the track for the season. "We are excited for Mark that he is reopening the track." stated series president Barry Grabel. "Mark is a friend and a hard worker and he has the respect of our series. Mark has always been an ally of OCRS as we are of him. We are looking forward to returning to Brill Motor Speedway in June."
Brill is anxiously anticipating his reopening on May 30th. "We are inviting multiple classes of cars for the first 2 weeks beginning at the end of the month," commented Brill. "I will see what classes appear to be the most interested and that's what we will go with as we go forward. I want the OCRS series at least once (maybe twice) this year. We will run the track 2 weeks on then one week off the rest of the year. We will have free beer for the fans each racing night until intermission or until we run out (of the allotted amount), whichever comes first," said Brill.
The AmeriFlex / OCRS series last performed on the red clay in 2013 and did so twice. Danny Smith scored a win in June and Harli White topped 38 entries in the season opener in March of that year. The series also opened the season at BMS in 2012 where Jamie Passmore started his fourth series championship campaign with a win. Passmore collected the BMS double when he also won in July.
So mark your calenders as the AmeriFlex / OCRS sprint car series returns to the Brill Motor Speedway on Saturday June 27th!
