Summer Sizzle
The double header at Butler County Speedway was doubly successful. Jason Martin captured the Sprint Series of Nebraska feature in his SCHNEE Chassis over the fellow EMI car of Trevor Grossenbacher. Jack Dover then claimed his third feature win in a row with the Nebraska 360 Sprint Series later the same evening. Jack paced Billy Alley and the pair of EAGLE cars finished 1-2 two nights in a row. After JDR's fourth win they traveled South to the Kansas State Fairgrounds and took yet another win, the fifth in six races, and kept the momentum rolling. Another Kansas victor was CJ Johnson with the NCRA at 81 Speedway.
Out East EMI staked our claim with two veteran teams. Lucas Wolfe crossed the stripe first at the famed Williams Grove Speedway in his stack tube SCHNEE while Steve Poirier raced the weather at the ESS show at Lebanon Valley Speedway and won in his EAGLE.
TBJ promoted EMI well by leading the field of ASCS National teams at Lucas Oil Speedway. Tony steered his EAGLE to the front stretch photo op with a happy crew and some family in tow. Familiar Knoxville faces were all successful this weekend in various places. TK, Tim Kaeding, piloted the Lunstra Motorsports #3 EAGLE to a hometown win at Husets Speedway. Clint Garner drove his SCHNEE to victory at Knoxville Raceway and fellow SCHNEE driver Gregg Bakker did the same at Jackson Speedway.
Southern stars were Gary Owens winning the OCRS feature at Oklahoma Sports Park and Shelby Byrd at Lawton Speedway both in a pair of EAGLE cars.
HENCHCRAFT Lightning Sprints were placed front and center by three drivers in two countries. Troy Ullery heated up El Paso County Speedway, Jordan Poirier won, yet again, at Autodrome Drummond, and Liam Ryan kept the HENCRAFT win streak alive at Deming Speedway.
The new STALLARD continues to rack up the victories with a familiar driver - Frank Galusha. Fast Frank swept the event at KAM Raceway in a tune up for this weekends High Banks Hustle.
