Outlaw, Lawton up next for AmeriFlex / OCRS
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (July 5, 2021) - Outlaw Motor Speedway and Lawton Speedway are up next for the AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Cars.
Friday will be the second attempt to get a race in at Outlaw Motor Speedway. Rain washed out the first attempt on May 16 at the 3/8 mile oval located on highway 69 south of Muskogee. And grandstand admission is FREE Friday night.
Saturday the AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA sprinters return to Lawton Speedway. On March 27 Steven Shebester won at Lawton over Whit Gastineau and 2018 OCRS champion Alex Sewell.
Danny Wood will be looking to improve on his 8th place finish at Lawton and protect his series points lead after winning his first OCRS feature June 26 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway. Wood took over the points lead the night before at Red Dirt Raceway displacing Casey Wills who had led from the beginning of the season.

Pits open at 5 p.m.
Driver draw 6:15-6:45, drivers meeting at 7, hot laps 7:30, racing at 8.
Saturday, Lawton Speedway
Pits open at 5 p.m.
Driver draw 6:15-6:45, drivers meeting at 7, hot laps 7:45, racing at 8:30.
