Outlaw, Red Dirt will host OCRS Sprints this weekend
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (October 12, 2021) - Two nights of racing are on tap for the AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Cars with stops at Outlaw Motor Speedway and Red Dirt Raceway this weekend.
Friday it is a return to Outlaw Motor Speedway. After an April 16 rainout the AmeriFlex / OCRS got a race in on July 16 and veteran Danny Wood picked up the win over fellow western Oklahoma racer Steven Shebester.
Red Dirt Raceway is next on Saturday night. In three previous visits to the Meeker, Oklahoma oval different winners emerged. On March 6-7 Johnny Kent and Joe Bob Lee got season opening victories. June 25 Tanner Conn crossed the finish line first.
Saturday’s final stop of the season at Red Dirt Raceway is the tracks annual salute to State Fair Speedway and the 6th annual Pat Suchy Classic.
With the season winding down Lee continues to lead the points race by 122 points over Casey Wills. The results from this weekend will go a long way in determining the points champion with only one race remaining October 23 at Caney Valley Speedway.
