Great Lakes Traditional Sprints
2021 GLTS SCHEDULE
Merrill, MI – The Great Lakes Traditional Sprints presented by Comp Cams is looking forward to our second year as GLTS. This year we have 19 races scheduled in Michigan at 7 different tracks in 11 weekends. There are 8 double header weekends and 3 single race weekends.
We open the season on May 7th with a big all sprint double header at I-96 Speedway near Lake Odessa, MI. GLTS will play host to the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) and Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP will be hosting the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour in a 360 winged shoot out.
Then we resume racing on Memorial Day Weekend with our first of two visits to Hartford Speedway on Saturday, May 29th, then travel north for our first visit of the season at Crystal Motor Speedway for a Sunday evening race.
On Saturday, June 12th we will be making our first visit and only visit to the Battle Grounds at Butler Motor Speedway. On June 18th we’ll return to I-96 Speedway, then followed up on Saturday night with our first of 3 visits to Silver Bullet Speedway in the thumb of Michigan.
On July 9th we start out our weekend for our last visit to Hartford Speedway on Friday night. Saturday the 10th we travel north for our first visit of the season at Merritt Speedway. July 23rd we return to I-96 Speedway and then travel to Silver Bullet Speedway for our second visit of the season.
August starts out with a couple single race weekends at Tri-City Motor Speedway on August 6th and August 21st for our last visit of the season at Silver Bullet Speedway.
Labor Day weekend kicks off with our last visit for points at I-96 Speedway on September 3rd, then we travel to Crystal Motor Speedway for our last visit of the season.
September 10th kicks off our Championship weekend at Tri-City Motor Speedway and then traveling up the road to Merritt Speedway where we will crown our 2021 GLTS Saturday night.
October 8th and 9th will be the 2nd Annual Roll the Dice Non-Wing Show at I-96 Speedway. Last years weekend was a big success and we look to build on that this year.
