THOROLD, Ont. (July 20, 2024) - Dylan Westbrook was back in victory lane at Merrittville Speedway on Saturday night after a non-stop Southern Ontario Sprints A-Main.
Darren Dryden and Dylan Westbrook started from the front row for the 25 lap feature race. Dryden was fastest in timed hot laps earlier in the night and earned the pole position after finishing third in his heat race. Dryden led the first 15 laps, but the outside groove eventually came in for Westbrook and the defending series champ made the winning move with 10 laps left. Dryden took the runner-up spot, followed by Liam Martin, DJ Christie, and Cory Turner.
Dryden claimed the Ackland Insurance Quick Time Award, while Christie was The Drivers Project Hard Charger Award winner.
