Wingless Sprint Series Inks Deal With O'Reilly Auto Parts

The Wingless Sprint Series is proud to announce its partnership with O’Reilly Auto Parts. OAP will be the title sponsor of the Willamette Valley Wingless Sprint Challenge Series, a new mini-series that will offer non-wing sprint car drivers the ability to compete in a new 4-race series at Willamette Speedway and Sunset Speedway for the 2019 race season. OAP has over 55 stores in the state of Oregon with another 94 in Washington. “We are very proud to represent all of our local OAP stores as well as the OAP national brand. This is an exciting time for the Wingless Sprint Series and 2019 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated wingless sprint seasons in a long time”, said Rob Lindsey, series director.

We also want to thank Wayne Van Raden with Van Raden Industries for making this event possible. Wayne has been one of our biggest contributors of the Wingless Sprint Series since its inception. “I don’t think anyone is aware of the time and commitment that Wayne has put into, not only this series, but multiple series in the past. We just couldn’t do what we do without his involvement,” said Rob Lindsey. “He’s a special guy and a long-time, great racer.”

In order to be eligible for the Challenge Series payout, you must compete in all 4 races. Willamette Speedway will host (2) two events on July 20th and our championship night on September 21st. Sunset Speedway will host the other (2) two events on June 22nd and August 10th. We will offer a series payoff at the end of the season based on total points earned during the (4) four events. At this point we are still working on additional sponsorship, but below is our anticipated payoff:

1st - $1,000
2nd - $800
3rd - $600
4th - $400
5th - $200
6th+ - $100
