Harry Hanson Cruises to Victory on a Sweltering Saturday Night
It was a sweltering Saturday night at the Cedar Lake Speedway. The PIRTEK Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series Winged cars would be the last feature before the big fireworks extravaganza. Very quickly the pair of 7's of Harry Hanson and Gunner Cummings shot to the front. Harry Hanson was able to get by Gunner and open up a sizable lead. In the middle of the field the 15C of Chevalier, 19B of Jack Berger and 34 of last weeks winner Denny Stordahl were all working hard to get to the 2nd spot. Harry Hanson would hold on to the top spot and find himself in Rock Auto Victory Lane.
