Traditional Sprints Added at Dodge County Speedway
The UMSS Traditional Sprint Car Series is pleased to announce that B&M Promotions, the new weekly promoters at the Dodge County Speedway in Kasson, have scheduled ten TSCS nonwinged sprint car shows at the 1/4 mile oval in 2012.
All ten TSCS sprint shows will be points races. The scheduled race nights include the season opener Sunday night May 6 and continue on with May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29, and August 12 before rounding out the season on Saturday September 29 with the final points race. In determining the over all TSCS point champion for the 2012 season, a driver will be allowed to throw out their lowest five (5) point races in case they are unable to make all of the Dodge County Speedway shows, several St. Croix Valley Raceway shows, or some of the other travel shows on the 2012 schedule.
Additional information will be available soon on this exciting announcement, and this news article will be updated with purse, start times, and other relevant information provided by Brian Madsen. The UMSS Traditional Sprint Car Series is slated to begin its second season with several more new cars currently under construction. With the addition of several shows at the Dodge County Speedway in 2012, the plan is to bring this affordable form of nonwinged sprint car racing to new tracks, develop new fans, and bring more cars on board for the weekly race programs.
