Scelzi Excited to Tackle 24th annual Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial

Inside Line Promotions – FRESNO, Calif. (April 28, 2014) – Dominic Scelzi has been looking forward to this weekend for a year.

After winning his heat race and finishing sixth last year during his first-ever Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial event, Scelzi and his Roth Motorsports backed entry will compete this Saturday with the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series for the 24th annual Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif.

“I would say this is one of the biggest races in California and by far the biggest race on the King of the West schedule in my opinion,” he said. “It always brings some of the best drivers out to run it at one of the most prestigious race tracks.”

After a high during the King of the West season opener and a low at the series’ second event, Scelzi noted that his goal for this weekend remains the same.

“I don’t want to worry about points,” he said. “I just want to run good and battle for wins. I feel pretty confident going in there, but it’s going to be a really tough show due to all of the tough competition.”

Scelzi, who charged from last to fourth place on April 12 at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., before crashing the following weekend at Placerville Speedway in Placerville, Calif., is seventh in the King of the West championship standings – only 43 points out of the lead.

This Saturday’s feature is 40 laps and pays $3,500 to the winner thanks to a donation from Roth Motorsports.
