Malvern Bank 360 Sprints
Off Road Speedway Dry & Jackson Moved to Next Friday!
It will be the first stop at the 1/3 mile facility in Norfolk, Nebraska and track Manager, Brian Signor says, "The facility is dry and we are shaping up to have an excellent night of racing!"
With early morning showers in the forecast, Signor says drying the track out shouldn't be a problem. "We have an excellent drainage system in place and it was just a few weeks ago that we got 3/4 inches of rain at 3:00 A.M. Saturday morning, and we were racing that evening. We expect another standing room only crowd to watch these amazing machines tackle the semi banked facility!"
Since the series made their first stop at the northeastern Nebraska facility, Jack Dover has shined to win every race at the track. "I love tracks that are "elbows up" and separate the men from the boys. As drivers, we love the fan base that comes to Off Road Speedway. We look up into the stands and see standing room only crowds and that creates an excitement to put on the best show possible for the fans!" Dover is coming off a hot streak of wins in the last month, picking up 5 wins in 5 different states since May 18.
We are hoping mother nature can settle herself down a bit as she has wrecked havoc on several tracks across the midwest. In what was suppose to have been a $3000 to win show at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota this evening, mother nature dumped 4 inches of rain over northern Iowa and southern Minnesota this week forcing the facility to move the show to next Friday night. That show will still be tri-sanctioned with the Midwest Sprint Touring Series, the Upper Midwest Sprint Series, and the Carpletland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series, presented by Malvern Bank.
Pit Gates open tomorrow at Off Road Speedway at 4:30, grandstand gates open at 5:00, Hot Laps and 7:00, and racing at 7:30. Adult tickets are $17, Kids 7-15 are $6, and 6 and under are free. For more information, please visit www.offroadspeedway.com
