Billings Motorsports Park Welcoming ASCS Frontier Region Sprint Cars for First Time This Season on Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 25, 2016) – Billings Motorsports Park will host its first ASCS Frontier Region sprint car race of the season this Saturday.

Late models, modifieds and street stocks are also on the card.

Skylar Gee enters this weekend leading the ASCS Frontier Region championship standings by 52 points over D.J. Brink with Kelly Miller only 65 points behind Gee.

Billings Motorsports Park has hosted one sprint car race this season with Aaron Reutzel winning the NSA Shootout. Sam Hafertepe Jr. and Travis Rilat finishing on the podium. Roger Crockett and Logan Forler rounded out the top five with Gee being the highest finishing regional racer in sixth.

Kelly Hample is on top of the late model standings at Billings Motorsports Park. Hample, who has earned a track best three wins and five top fives, holds a 39-point lead over Rayce McCord.

Hank Berry, Eddie Kirchoff, Travis Davis and Dale Neitzel have each reached the Winner’s Circle at least one this season in the modifieds class.

Two-time race winner Robert Petroff heads into Saturday with a 17-point advantage in the street stocks championship standings over Troy Lorenz. Bob Gordon ranks third (23 points behind Petroff) with James Garretson fourth (24 points behind Petroff) and Grant Gary fifth (26 points behind Petroff).

Tickets for Saturday’s mega event are $18 for adults; $15 for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old; $10 for children ages 7 to 11 years old; and free for children ages 6 and younger. Additionally, pre-buy tickets are available at a discount of $3 per ticket at http://www.BMPSpeedway.com until midnight on Friday.

The pits are slated to open at 3 p.m. with the front gate opening at 5:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
