Logan Forler Capture Ostermiller Memorial Prelim At Big Sky Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – BILLINGS, Mont. (August 19, 2022) Getting his 12th career win with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region on Friday, Idaho’s Logan Forler raced to the front of the field on Lap 8 and never looked back at Big Sky Speedway to open the Harvey Ostermiller Memorial, presented by Briggs Distributing and Kirkness Roofing.

A dominating performance by the No. 2L, Forler ran away from the field to win by 7.881-seconds. Getting by the No. 12h of Tony Bruce, Jr., for the point, the Kansas shoe held on for the runner-up finish while Phil Dietz crossed third. Tyler Driever and Kelly Miller completed the top five.

Trever Kirkland, in sixth, was followed by Blayne Brink, Jeremy McCune, Johnny Herrera, and Damon McCune to round out the top ten.

Racing continues Saturday, August 20. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for veterans and seniors, and free for kids 60-inches tall and shorter. Gates open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT).

The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
