MARS Championship Tours Make Schedule Adjustments to 2023 Schedules

As the mid-summer break begins to wind down, the second half of the MARS Championship Tour season draws closer. With eyes on what is to come, series officials have made several adjustments to complete the 2023 season. Schedule changes are as listed below:

MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment
Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26 – Paducah International Raceway

Series officials along with the Paducah International Raceway are proud to announce the debut of the series to the state of Kentucky on Friday, August 25, and Saturday, August 26 featuring the MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment and other divisions soon to be announced. After the postponement of the May 5 event, both the track and series have been looking diligently for a reschedule date. With limited DIRTcar UMP Modified specials scheduled throughout the country for the chosen weekend, both parties felt as if this was the best option for the optimal turnout.

With the extended travel time most of the teams will have to make the tow to Paducah, track owner and promoter Adam Elliott decided to add a second night onto the weekend with an elevated payout in hopes to show his commitment to Modified racing for the future.

The weekend will include the MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment’s standard payout of $2,000 to win and $250 to start on Friday night, with an elevated purse of $3,000 to win and $300 to start on Saturday night. An autograph session will be held in the midway on Saturday afternoon prior to the racing action. Complete event purse is as follows:

Friday, August 25: 1) $2,000 2) $1,500 3) $1,200 4) $1,000 5) $800 6) $600 7) $500 8) $400 9) $300 10) $275 11) $250 12) $250 13) $250 14) $250 15) $250 16) $250 17) $250 18) $250 19) $250 20) $250 21) $250 22) $250
