Wissota Late Model Challenge Series
WISSOTA Honors Drivers At Year End Banquet
Saturday, November 10th, the Drivers of the Wollak Construction WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series Presented By QA1 were recognized for their season long efforts in St Cloud, MN.
There were 11 Drivers who received awards for various achievements including Hard Charger, Hard Luck and Perfect Attendance. Travel bonuses were given for those who made the majority of the shows.
The now 5 time Series Champion Pat Doar of New Richmond, WI brought home the Championship Trophy along with the big $10,000 check.
Runner up Marshall Fegers was selected as the Hard Charger for the season as he gained 56 positions in the 17 events.
Pat Doar, Marshall Fegers, and Lance Matthees were able to make it to every event this season and earned Perfect Attendance Awards.
Rick Hanestad had a series ending crash at the Red Cedar Speedway and was awarded the Hard Luck Award.
Other Drivers who received awards were Steve Laursen, Jake Redetzke, John Kaanta, Buddy Hanestad, Jeffrey Massingill, Darrell Nelson and Blake Swenson.
