Top Western Sprint Tour Point Earners To Be Awarded At Banquet

Cottage Grove, Oregon- With the dust all settled from the inaugural Western Sprint Tour season the only thing remaining is the awards to be handed out at the series’ banquet on Saturday December 5th. Six drivers will be receiving awards at the ceremony. Trey Starks, Michael Kofoid, Garen Linder, Patrick Dills, Greg Hamilton, and Brent McGrath will be recognized for their efforts during the 2015 campaign.
Brent McGrath would pass the most cars during feature time to claim the Hard Charger Award while Michael Kofoid was declared the Rookie of the Year. Both awards were sponsored by the fine folks at Dan Kent Metals in Turner, Oregon.
The banquet will be at the Elk's Lodge in Cottage Grove. Doors open for happy hour around 5:00 PM, Dinner is at 6:00, and Awards will kick off at about 7:00. Below this story is a list of drivers to receive awards.
Tickets are $25.00 and you must RSVP by November 23rd. Dinner options are either prime rib or chicken. We will also have some awesome door prizes once all the awards have been handed out. To purchase your tickets contact CGS General Manager Heather Boyce at (541)-729-8666. We hope to see you there.
