LAMB TAKES THIRD USAC EASTERN MIDGET CROWN IN SPOOKTACULAR FASHION AT KENLY

Chris Lamb of Colfax, N.C. backed-up his 2015 USAC Eastern Midget Championship with the 2016 title after winning Saturday’s season finale "Spooktacular" at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, N.C.

Lamb concluded the campaign with a 22-point edge over runner-up Andrew Layser, who finished third in Saturday’s finale.

George Kurtz took second ahead of Layser, followed by Nolan Allison and Sam Hatfield.

Lamb’s victory was his eighth of the year and he closed out the series with a string of six consecutive podium finishes.
