IMRA SPECIAL EVENT FINALE SUNDAY AT QUINCY RACEWAYS

The 2017 USAC Speed2 IMRA Midget Series completed its points campaign September 23 but this Sunday, October 15 officially signals the end of the IMRA schedule with a special “non-points” race at Quincy (Ill.) Raceways.

On October 1, a similar “non-points” IMRA race was won by Andy Baugh, who scored four points victories during the season, including the final two, to finish ninth in the final points.

Other 2017 winners included Dillon Morley (5), Adam Taylor (5), Chase McDermand (4), Tyson Hart (2), Jeff Mallonee and Gedd Ross, plus Andy Malpocker, who won the series-opening non-points race at Du Quoin, Ill. in February.

Morley captured the 2017 IMRA points title, finishing 99 points ahead of runner-up Taylor.
