SLS Motorsports - RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals Agenda

Labor Day weekend kicks off the 4th Annual RaceSaver IMCA 305 Sprint Nationals at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska!

Thursday, September 1st will consist of a pre-tech day followed by an open house practice. Tech is set to roll from 10am – 6pm. Pit gates and grandstands will open at 6pm with open house practice running from 7pm – 10pm. Grandstand admission for Thursday’s events is free, while pit entry is $15. Following practice there will be a pit party with live entertainment, the Meadow Rave Band.

Friday the 2nd will be the first of two qualifying nights for the RaceSaver Sprints. The top 9 finishing cars will transfer to the first three rows of Sunday’s feature event. The SLS Motorsports #23BC will be participating in Friday night’s qualifying events for the ‘Big Dance Main Event.’ Those participating in the Jake Ita Memorial Race of Champions will qualify through heat races for the Race of Champions event which is set to be held on Saturday evening. Pit gates are set to open on Friday at 4pm, with grandstands opening at 6pm and hot laps at 6:30pm. Grandstand admission for September 2nd events is $10 – Adult, $5 – Youth (6-12), FREE – Child (5 & Under), pit entry at $25. Following the conclusion of racing on Friday night, there will be a pit party with live entertainment, Low On Cash Band.

Saturday, September 3rd is set to showcase the second of two qualifying nights at Eagle Raceway. The top 9 finishing cars of Saturday’s event will transfer to rows 4-6 to Sunday’s ‘Big Dance Main Event.’ Dependent upon whether Stu qualifies for the feature event on Friday will determine whether or not the #23BC will hit the track on Saturday night. Stay tuned to social media sources for confirmation on whether or not the SLS Motorsports team will have to participate on Saturday or not. Those who qualified for the Jake Ita Memorial Race of Champions will participate in the Race of Champions main event on Saturday evening. Pit gates will open at 4pm, grandstands at 5pm and hot laps beginning at 5:30pm. Grandstand admission for Saturday is $12 – Adult, $5 – Youth (6-12), FREE – Child (5 & Under), pit entry at $25. Following Saturday’s events, a pit party will be held with live entertainment provided by V-Twin.

Sunday, September 4th will be the conclusion and crowning of the 2016 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals Champion. A dodgeball tournament of which all proceeds benefit the JDRF Foundation will begin at 11am. You can expect to see Snyder and some of the SLS Motorsports team compete alongside teammate Adam Gullion and some of his AGR team. Sunday’s events will host one last qualifying attempt, and the top 9 cars of Sunday’s qualifiers will fill out rows 7-9 in the ‘Big Dance.’ During intermission, the Miss Eagle Raceway crowning will take place along with a Driver Introduction Ceremony featuring the drivers qualified into the ‘Big Dance Main Event.’ The $2,500 to win main event will conclude the 2016 Sprint Nationals. Pit gates open at 3pm on Sunday, with grandstands opening at 4:30pm. The first 1,000 fans in the gate will receive a driver introduction ceremony light-up wand. Driver autographs will be held in the courtyard from 4:30pm – 5:30pm, with sprint cars on hand to show. Hot laps are set to start at 5:30pm. Grandstand admission on Sunday is $15 – Adult, $5 – Youth (6-12), FREE – Child (5 & Under), pit entry at $25.

Be sure to stop down and see Stu and the SLS Motorsports team throughout the weekend, and pick up your signed Stu Snyder hero card and a window decal for $5.
