(10/24/22) Finding the final weekend of possible points with a duo of outstanding open-wheel prospects possible, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division would conclude the seasonal quest of Inaugural National Championship infamy as all eyes shifted west with only the Southwest regions running. Wrapping up the seasonal quest for national notoriety, the father-son Truscinski duo remains atop the championship picture with Alex besting his father Alan to become the inaugural title holder.

Feature winners within the Southwest Lightning Sprints would see JD Bentley secure his first career series victory on Friday as Brent Sexton would see his career win count move to eight while wrapping up the series championship season at Imperial Valley Speedway.
