Entry Deadline Approaches for POWRi Midget iNationals presented by LSRTV
Belleville, IL. (11/13/2020) As entries and interest continue to grow for the inaugural running of the POWRi Midget iNationals presented by Live Sim Racing TV, the deadline date of December 4th looms with spots filling quickly for this premier virtual racing event.
December 11-12 will witness competitors from all over try to tame the digital dirt of Fairbury American Legion Speedway in attempts to take to the record-breaking purse. With a variety of simulated-driving professionals and real-world racers, this event is shaping up for an outstanding weekend of open-wheel excitement. With numerous inquiries of interest, hopeful entrants will not want to wait until the last minute to register as spots continue to fill with registration ending December 4th.
Notable names and entries remain steady with a multitude of drivers already registered and awaiting the December 11-12 racing weekend. Newly crowned Rookie of the Year Trey Gropp, of Lincoln Nebraska, hopes to relay his POWRi National and West Midget League accomplishments into simulated successes as Gropp appears to be one to watch. Past POWRi iRacing feature winner Brennan Rogers, of Camarillo California, remains another driver to watch having claimed several wins in the previous six-week POWRi midget virtual season. POWRi Micro and open-wheel standout Bryant Wiedeman, from Colby Kansas, continues to climb the ranks of the racing world, will this be the event that solidifies his front-running ways?
Digital competitors in the inaugural POWRi Midget iNationals presented by LSRTV on December 11-12 will be allowed Open Setup with a single Fast-Repair available. World of Thunder Rules and iRacing Sporting Code will be in full effect.
Race Format:
2 laps - lone qualifying
6 lap heat races
10 lap D-Main
12 lap C-Main
14 lap B-Main
40 lap A-Main
Drivers registering are encouraged to send important information in a Private Message on the POWRi Midget iNationals Facebook page. Information required is iRacing name, Car number preference with two backups numbers, hometown, and sponsors. Officials will then send entrants a link to join the league as well as inquiring about personalized car-wraps.
One of the highest iRacing Midget payouts will see $6000 in total earnings on the line based on the 120-driver entry format. Beast Racing is offering a Quick-Time Award to be given to the fastest driver during qualifying.
A-Main payout:
1st - $1000; 2nd - $850; 3rd - $750; 4th - $600; 5th - $500; 6th - $125; 7th - $125; 8th - $125; 9th - $125; 10th - $100; 11th - $100; 12th - $100; 13th - $100; 14th - $100; 15th - $100; 16th - $100; 17th - $100; 18th - $100; 19th - $100; 20th - $100. Non-Feature Qualifiers will also be in contention for prize money as the top three finishing drivers that do not advance into the feature event will receive $75.
