Steven Snyder Jr Successful in SSMC’s Small Town Throwdown with POWRi Outlaw Micros

Belleville, IL. (7/3/23) Steven Snyder Jr would continue his phenomenal showing in major micro event victories over the past few seasons by winning the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex’s yearly Small Town Throwdown event with the POWRi Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine & Tool on Championship Night to claim his first seasonal league victory.

Entering a stout field of over forty entries spanning the two days of competition in the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro, Chelby Hinton would gain the preliminary night win on Saturday after an intense and action-packed twenty-five-lap feature.

Flying onto the track for championship night would see preliminary night winner Chelby Hinton leading the field for the first five circuits around Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex as an amazing test of driving skills would be displayed behind the front-running few.

Securing the front for the final nine laps in the championship night feature on Sunday, the rising star from Rising Sun Maryland would claim his fourth career league win over the previous three seasons. Advancing eleven positions in the feature, Steven Snyder Jr would prove to be on a mission in an outstanding show of open-wheel dominance.

Leading twenty-seven of the forty feature laps, Dylan Kadous, of Topeka Kansas, would stay in the hunt for the front resulting in a runner-up finish from starting sixth as Warsaw Missouri wheelman Tyler Kuykendall would finalize the podium placement from starting in the seventh position.

Maintaining a solid showing all event, Kris Carrol of Claremore Oklahoma would place fourth as hometown talent Trey Schleicher would advance nine spots to round out the top-five finishers in the POWRi Outlaw Micro League main event in the annual Small Town Throwdown Championship Night at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.
