POWRi Lightning Sprint Weekly Results: July 14-16
Belleville, IL. (7/17/23) Finding a surge of sanctioned events in the mid-summer swing of potential points, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division would witness a trio of regions completing the weekend competitions as entrants would find five events over the weekend to add to the continually developing the National Championship chase that finds the Taves sister/brother combo atop the leaderboards.
Feature winners over the weekend would include Stanley Kreisel earning his career feature victory fourteen racing at I-35 Speedway in the Midwest on Saturday as Johnny Boos would visit victory lane to earn his forty-second career victory in the Rocky Mountain region while battling at El Paso County Raceway.
The Minn-Kota area would see a triple dose of racing with Dexter Dvergsten attaining career win number thirty-four at River Cities Speedway on Friday, then again on Saturday at River Cities with Alan Truscinski attaining career victory number eleven, as Dexter Dvergsten would again visit victory lane with a win on Sunday at Buffalo River Speedway for his eighth sanctioned win of 2023.
