Mark McMahill Manages POWRi IMRA Win at Champaign County Speedway
Belleville, IL. (7/23/2023) Flying onto the Champaign County Fairgrounds for the annual event, the fifth sanctioned seasonal competition in the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would witness Mark McMahill return to winning form at Champaign County Speedway to earn the feature win and his fourth victory of the 2023 racing season.
Starting the fifth night of POWRi sanctioning, IMRA would find the dominant Mark McMahill notch the heat racing win as well as gain the pole-starting grid for the fifteen-lap feature event.
Green flag feature racing would find McMahill defending the front of the field for the duration of the feature laps to earn the Champaign County Fair feature event with Bryan Stanfill earning a solid runner-up showing.
Staying contiguously close to the leaders, Patrick Bruns would finish third as Russell Johnston wheeled his way through the field to place fourth with Shane Morgan rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association at Champaign County Speedway for the Champaign County Fair in Urbana Illinois. On Saturday.

Next up the newly sanctioned POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association will see action back at their home facility of Spoon River Speedway on Saturday, August 12th.
