Don Grable and Dylan Harris with Weekend Wins at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway with POWRi Desert Wing Sprints
Belleville, IL. (6/9/24) Returning for the second weekend of 2024 racing action with a double-header of on-track excitement at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway as the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series presented by MVT Services would witness Don Grable and Dylan Harris winning over the two-day adventure in 360 Wing-Sprint speed.
Starting the weekend at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway on Friday with top-notch entries would find Jesse Baker and Don Grable each grabbing heat racing wins with Vance Wofford gaining the pole-starting grid for the feature event.
Using patience, precision, and a second-starting spot, Don Grable would out-maneuver the pack to clinch the top spot to notch his second career POWRi Desert Wing Sprint feature victory as third-starting Caleb Saiz would finish runner-up with Lorne Wofford placing third from starting seventh.
Eight-starting Spencer Hill placed fourth with fifteenth-starting Rick Ziehl hard-charging to round out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series on Night One at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.
Proceeding into the second night of weekend racing would witness Lorne Wofford and Vance Wofford each winning heat races with Jesse Baker earning the pole-starting grid for the feature event.
Flying into the feature action with solid entries would find Dylan Harris grab the lead to wheel his way out front of the field and notch his first career POWRi DWSS feature victory from starting fourth with sixth-starting Lorne Wofford finishing runner-up as JT Imperial finalized the podium placements after beginning the feature seventh.
Contending up front, Spencer Hill would finish fourth with Bryan Ledbetter rounding out the top five feature finishers after starting thirteenth for the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series Night Two of the weekend double-header at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.
