Rick Ziehl and Lorne Wofford with Wins at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway with POWRi Desert Wing Sprints

Belleville, IL. (8/11/24) Returning for the fourth weekend of 2024 racing action with a double-dose of on-track excitement at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway as the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series would witness Rick Ziehl and Lorne Wofford winning over the two-day journey in 360 Wing-Sprint competitions in Show Low, Arizona.

Starting the weekend at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway on Friday with twenty-five entries, Jesse Baker, Caleb Saiz, Vance Wofford, and Dylan Harris each notch heat racing wins with Troy Treharn gaining the semi-feature victory.

Using pull-away speed and driving precision, Rick Ziehl would out-maneuver the pack to clinch the top spot from starting pole position to notch his fourth career POWRi Desert Wing Sprint feature victory as second-starting Dylan Harris would finish runner-up with JT Imperial placing third from starting sixth.
Current series point leader Caleb Saiz placed fourth with Vance Wofford rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series on Night One at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.

Proceeding into the second straight night of racing on Saturday would witness Lorne Wofford, JT Imperial, and Caleb Saiz each winning heat races with Racin Silva earning the semi-feature event victory.

Flying into the second night of feature action with twenty-three entries would witness Lorne Wofford grab the lead from starting third to wheel his way out in front of the field and notch his third career POWRi DWSS feature victory with leader of twelve laps JT Imperial finishing runner-up as Jesse Baker finalized the podium placements.

Contending up front, point-leader Caleb Saiz would finish fourth with Don Grable rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series Night Two of the Weekend double-header at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.
