Weekend Recap for Jason Berg Racing
This weekend was just a single night event as the #100 car loaded up Saturday and made the long haul 12 mile haul to BRRP :). It's nice to race so close on Saturday nights so that your family and friends can watch you race! And this weekend was a good one!!! Last week the #100 machine won the heat and took 2nd in the feature only to see those results flipped this weekend as the #100 was 2nd place in the heat and ended up putting the #100 in victory lane Saturday night! It was really nice to see some changes made to the car at intermission really made a difference in the gaining of traction/speed for the feature. The confidence each week is getting stronger as we are finishing in the top 5 lately at NLSA events and currently sit 6th place in points with just a few events to go in the NLSA point season. This Saturday with the win the #100 currently sits 1st place in points with approximately 3 or 4 point races to go. It would be nice for my 1st three years to finish 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the points.
This weekend is a busy one as we hit to Norman County Raceway on Thursday for an NLSA event and back to the Bullring at River Cities Speedway for another NLSA event (hoping for better finish this time) and finishing it up Saturday with our 2nd annual fan appreciation at the shop Saturday afternoon from 12-3 before loading up and heading to BRRP to close out the 3 night swing this weekend.
Thanks to everyone for all the texts and message this weekend, lets hope its the 1st of many to come!!
