MLDS Ready to Duel at the Dam
West Allis, WI (June 13th, 2024) - The Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct is locked and loaded for their first full night at Beaver Dam Raceway this Saturday night for a big $400 payday to the winner. The MLDS will run a full event in a packed night of racing which includes 5 different classes battling it out. This will be the MLDS’s first full event at Beaver Dam Raceway after a snow-out canceled the first two nights, and the second night of the 2 night weekend with the World of Outlaws was postponed due to rain.
The championship battle heated up after Jordan Miklas picked up his first win of the season at Gravity Park just over a week prior. Jackson Lewis finds himself second place in the championship after a win at Angell Park Speedway in the season opener. Hayden Schmuhl sits third overall after a strong first two races, with a 6th and 7th place finish at Angell Park Speedway and Gravity Park. Dallas Ross and Charlie Spoonmore find themselves 4 points apart for the fourth and fifth place.
6 total classes will be in action across 3 days. Thursday will see an open practice session including all 6 divisions including the legends. Legends will not be on the card for Friday. Saturday will see Legends, Street Stocks, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, and IMCA Modifieds ready for action. All features on Saturday will be 20 laps except the IMCA Modifieds, who will run 25 lap features, for a big $2,500-to-win night. The legends will be a draw - redraw format. There will be two drivers meetings, a track meeting and a series drivers meeting, drivers will need to attend both meetings.
The pit gates are scheduled to open at 3:00pm, with the grandstands opening at 4:00pm, and racing at 6:00pm.
