Midwest Legends Dirt Series
Big Week on Tap for the MLDS
West Allis, WI (July 7th, 2024) - The Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct is preparing for a major week of racing with two nights on the cards at Beaver Dam Raceway and Angell Park Speedway. Both tracks have seen over 30 cars entered into the nights that racing have occurred, and another high car count is expected.
The first race of the week will take place on a rare Wednesday. The rescheduled second night of racing alongside the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars is bound to bring some good racing. An expected B-Main and A-Main are on the cards. Any car that did not race on the first night all the way back on May 31st will have to start at the back of the B-Main. The series will join the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars for a big night of racing.
The second race of the week will take place on Sunday at Angell Park Speedway. The track that started the series off this season will host the Midwest’s premier legend series for the second time this season. Jackson Lewis came from the B-Main to pick up the inaugural win of the series. Don’t count out Jordan Miklas who came home second or Charlie Spoonmore, who said he felt good at the track before running into trouble later in the night. The series will run alongside the Badger Midget and MSA Sprint Cars.
Jackson Lewis continues to lead the way in the points standings after four events and Jordan Miklas is keeping close to him only 13 points behind. The battle for the third spot is heating up, with 30 points separating most recent feature winner Ryan Sullivan, Hayden Schmuhl, and Dallas Ross. Charlie Spoonmore is somewhat in a world of his own in sixth, with the battle for the remaining top ten spots seeing Michael Weber in seventh, Brady Ascherien in eighth, Adam Zellmer in ninth, and Call Swenson in tenth. Only 35 points separate those four drivers, and the battle is bound to heat up.

On track action begins at 6:30pm with hot laps and qualifying, and racing is set to commence at 7:30pm.
