SPEED51.COM & RACE OF CHAMPIONS PARTNER ON POLE AWARD

-Speed51.com Presents the Speed51 “Top of the Board” Pole Contingency Award at Race of Champions Events-

Speed51.com has partnered with the Race of Champions to present a Pole award for all remaining Race of Champions Asphalt Modified, Race of Champions Super Stock and Race of Champions Dirt Sportsman events.

The pole winner (overall fastest time during group, green-white-checker qualifying) for the remaining Race of Champions Asphalt Modified, Race of Champions Super Stock and Race of Champions Dirt 602 Sportsman Series events will receive a $51 bonus from Speed51.com.

“We are thrilled to be able to create this award for the three Race of Champions series’ we are working with. Speed is synonymous with the first part of our name, so the Speed51 ‘Top of the Board’ Award fits nicely,” said Bob Dillner, veteran Motorsports TV commentator and owner of Speed51.com. “We feel it is important to be part of the Race of Champions brand that Joe and Amy (Skotnicki) are advancing so nicely with. The Race of Champions has a longstanding tradition in Modified racing; Speed51 wants to be part of that, but we also enjoy the growing Super Stock and Dirt Sportsman divisions as well. We hope this award helps the racers who drive their guts out each and every race.”

Speed51.com has also committed to increasing the Pole award bonus for the 68th Annual Race of Champions weekend at Lake Erie Speedway September 27th, 28th and 29th.

As well as the Pole award Speed51.com will once again contribute to the Race of Champions Year-End Awards program as they have for the past two seasons, including the Most Popular Driver Awards for all Race of Champions Series.

Speed51.com has been the home for behind-the-scenes stories and short track news since 2001 and is 100% short track racing content with nearly three million people visiting the site during 2017.

In 2015, Speed51.com created the Speed51 Network, an on-demand video network which now features thousands of short track racing videos from throughout North America. In 2017 more than 50 races were also broadcast live for members of the Speed51 network and is expected to grow and include several Race of Champions events during the 2018 season.
