3RD ANNUAL TRIBUTE TO KEN HECKLER 51 TO BE FEATURED ON NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY PARK HOME TO LANCASTER NATIONAL SPEEDWAY OVAL THIS SATURDAY
New York International Raceway Park, home to Lancaster National Speedway is set to host the 3rd Annual Tribute to Ken Heckler “51” this Saturday.
“This is a big night for us,” stated veteran Street Stock competitor Mark Hoch of Buffalo, N.Y. “51 laps is a long race for us and Ken (Heckler) was a huge part of our division. We are all looking forward to competing in the race and putting on a great show for the fans that come out support this special race.”
In addition lap funds presented by the Heckler family, local Buffalo, N.Y., WECK Radio personality Buddy Shula is offering $300 in random prizes that will be awarded to competitors that night.
The event will also feature the Race of Champions Asphalt Sportsman Modified Series along with the Lancaster Four Cylinders and NYPA T.Q. Midgets.
The Tribute to Ken Heckler “51” at Lancaster begins with qualifying at 6:30pm.
Where: New York International Raceway Park, home to Lancaster National Speedway, Lancaster, NY
When: Saturday, August 24, 2019. Racing at 6:30 pm.
Directions: The track is located at 57 Gunnville Road in Lancaster, N.Y., just North of Route 33 and minutes from the New York State Thruway.
