Creek and Lawton on Sooner Region radar
Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (July 17, 2013) The American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region returns to the Creek County Speedway and Lawton Speedway this weekend with Creek scheduled for Friday, July 19 and Lawton slated for Saturday, July 20.
Stop three of the season at the Creek County Speedway, Seth Bergman and Jeff Swindell have each walked away with the winner share. Joined by the NOW600 Micro Sprints, Friday at the Creek County Speedway is scheduled to begin at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). For more information, log onto http://www.creekcountyspeedway.co.
The Lawton Speedway stands as the most visited facility of 2013. Three trip so far has yielded just as many victors with Mike Goodman scoring the victory on April 4. Tony Bruce, Jr. emerged on June 1 with Jeff Swindell scoring a Speedweek victory on June 19. The American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region is scheduled to be joined by the USA Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, and Mini Stocks. Races begin at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Mike Goodman holds a small 43 point margin in the chase of the 2013 Sooner Region title with defending champion Matt Covington holding second. Danny Wood sits 57 points removed from the points lead with Jake Martens and Joe Bob Lee completing the top five in series standings.
