Carney II Tackling LOS 360 Nationals This Weekend at Lake Ozark Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – EL PASO, Texas (Sept. 1, 2020) – John Carney II is bound for Lake Ozark Speedway this weekend for the 11th annual LOS 360 Nationals.

The SawBlade.com Xiphos saw blade and Mesilla Valley Transportation backed competitor will race with the ASCS Warrior Region on Saturday and Sunday at the oval in Eldon, Mo.

“I think last year I ran there four times,” he said. “We ran third the first night and won the second night. Then we were there for this race Labor Day Weekend and it seemed like I came from a B Main to 16th during the opener and the final night we charged from 16th to fourth.”

Carney II has only visited the dirt oval those four times last year. The strong runs have given him added confidence going into this weekend.

“It definitely helps,” he said. “That’s part of the decision to go there and run. It pays pretty good money and we’ve ran in the top five three out of four times. Hopefully we can remain consistent there.”

Carney II enters the weekend with momentum after earning his first 360ci sprint car win of the season – to go along with four 305ci sprint car victories – recently. The triumph kicked off a string of three top 10s in his last five races.
