Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series
THE $3,000-TO-WIN KING OF THE CRATE AT N. ALABAMA SPEEDWAY RESCHEDULED FOR OCT. 10
ADAIRSVILLE, GA – The $3,000-to-win 4th Annual King of the Crate 50 for the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL has been rescheduled for Saturday night, October 10. The original date on September 12 was rained out.
Jeremy Shaw of Millport, AL is the reigning King of the Crates, earning the crown, robe, and scepter in 2019. Shaw warmed up in an effort to keep his crown by finishing second in the King of the Crate 40 race at North Alabama Speedway on September 11. Jimmy Thomas of Phenix City, AL won the King of the Crate 40.
There were 27 entrants lined up for Boyd Built Group Qualifying when the rains came on Saturday night, September 12 washing out the program and postponing it until October 10. Rain checks from the September 12 rain out will be honored for admission on Saturday night, October 10.
Before returning to North Alabama Speedway, the next Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series National Touring race will be its first visit to Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA for a $4,000-to-win $400-to-start race on Saturday night, September 26. It will be Round 11 of the 2020 season.
America’s Leader In Racing will stop at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on October 2 and 3 for Rounds 12 and 13 during NASCAR Weekend. The show on Friday night, October 2 will pay $2,000-to-win and run for 40-laps. The Saturday night, October 3 event will pay $2,500-to-win and run for 50 laps.
