Strane earns clean sweep and stays perfect with 5 wins after besting field at Wilmot

22 cars signed in at Wilmot Raceway and it was series point leader Brian Strane Jr capturing his first ever Quick Time award. Strane would then go on to win Allstar Performance Heat 1 from the 4th starting spot. Nick Petska would capture Rod End Supply heat 2 – also from the 4th starting spot and then Mark Heinert would grab Weld Racing Heat 3 – again from the 4th starting spot. The number 3 pill was drawn for the feature invert putting the K9 of Andrew Kiedroski on the pole. After some track re-work left corner 4 extra greasy before the start of the lightning sprint feature, the cars did a few laps trying to buzz the water off and get the track into race conditions, however the bottom was still a little too slimy on the start and the outside row was able to dominate with the outside 3 cars able to get to the front immediately. After a couple laps, turn 4 was in great shape and the feature went green to checkered with exciting racing all over the track. Tim Brannam would lead lap one from his outside front row starting spot, but 4th starting Mark Heinert would go on to lead laps 2-17 before getting hung up behind a lapper and allowing 6th starter of Strane to sneak under and claim his 5th consecutive victory and a clean sweep on the night. Heinert and Nick Petska would round out the podium.
