Lucas Oil POWRi National Midgets and Micro Sprints Invade Illinois for a Two-Day Show
Belleville, IL. (08/16/2021) The Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League and Lucas Oil Micro Sprint League Presented by Engler Machine & Tool, gears up to head into a two-day race weekend back to the state of Illinois. The drivers and teams will attack Charleston Speedway in Charleston, IL. Friday, August 20th. They will get back on the road and finish off the weekend in Macon Illinois, at the Mighty Macon Speedway Saturday, August 21st.
The last driver to become victorious at Charleston Speedway was Emerson Axsom, who is behind the wheel of the Petry Motorsports owned, No. 15. Axsom has two wins on the season, eight top five, and eleven top ten finishes this far in 2021. Axsom also sits back in the sixth position in the season points battle, with only 1180 points separating him and the leader, Bryant Wiedeman.
Kyle Barker of Cooksville, IL. is the most recent winner behind the wheel of a Lucas Oil POWRi Micro Sprint. Barker is the last winner at the Mighty Macon Speedway and will try to capture another this weekend.
