Castrol FloRacing Night in America Adds Nov. 11 Date at Senoia

Over $45,000 Added to Peach State Classic Weekend Payout; Total Super Late Model Purse Now Exceeds $207,000 on Nov. 11-12

AUSTIN, Texas (October 7, 2022) — After losing two shows earlier this year, Castrol® FloRacing Night in America is pleased to announce the addition of a point event on Friday, November 11 at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway. The night’s program now pays $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start and replaces the previously scheduled $10,000-to-win / $600-to-start unsanctioned program.

“We set out this year with 12 races on the schedule, but we lost Tri-City Speedway in June to rain, and we were forced to cancel the August event at 34 Raceway due to a tire shortage. With a driver’s best 10 finishes counting toward the championship, we’d like all drivers to have the opportunity to drop their lowest point total from at least one event, so we added this point’s event at Senoia Raceway,” said series General Manager, Ben Shelton. “Not only did we add over $32,000 to Friday’s purse, but we also added another $13,000 throughout the field for Saturday’s $53,053-to-win / $1,053-to-start series season finale to make it an even stronger payout as we wrap-up our 2022 campaign.

“We couldn’t do this without amazing support from Castrol® and all our great marketing partners, so we thank them for their support. We also want to thank the Pollard family, Molly Helmuth, and everyone at Senoia Raceway for being so great to work with. It’s cool to think that the second week of November, one driver could win over $73,000 in first-place prize money if they can sweep the weekend.”

Not only will drivers be vying for big payouts each night of the second annual Peach State Classic, but the 2022 Castrol® FloRacing Night in America Champion will be crowned following Saturday night’s program.

The mega miniseries champion will receive $75,000 if they have perfect attendance on the tour. Originally slated to pay $30,000 for this year’s titlist, it was announced earlier this year that if a driver maintained perfect attendance, that the 2022 championship would pay two-and-a-half times the advertised amount.

The end result would be the possibility of a $148,000 total weekend take for a miniseries racer by the time the final checkered flag drops on the second annual Peach State Classic.

Brandon Sheppard currently holds a 103-point advantage over Bobby Pierce in pursuit of the 2022 Castrol® FloRacing Night in America title. Tyler Erb, Ricky Thornton Jr., Mike Marlar, Garrett Alberson, Hudson O’Neal, Brandon Overton, Devin Moran, and Stormy Scott round out the Top-10 in the latest standings.

Additionally, racers please note that the Super Late Model online entry form is officially live for the second annual Peach State Classic at https://senoiaraceway.wufoo.com/forms/q1syevod0yy4zt8/ .

Drivers have until Wednesday, October 19 to register and take advantage of the discounted Early Bird Entry Fee of $200 ($50 savings). After that date the entry fee is $100 for Friday, November 11 and $150 for Saturday, November 12.
