Knight attends Dirt Track at Charlotte for Colossal 100

Drawing a stout field of 47 XR Super Series entries, Knight dropped four spots in his heat race to finish 12th, relegating him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the A-Main, Cla passed four cars but fell short of a transfer position with an 11th-place outing.

For another $25,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday night, Cla came in fourth in his heat before picking up a 10-lap consolation victory. Starting the feature in 19th, Knight was one of four cars that retired early.

After wet weather axed Friday’s program, Knight edged his way into $50,000-to-win Colossal 100 finale on Saturday with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Rolling off 16th, Cla was credited with a 21st-place outing after pulling off early.
