Pro Pulling League
Ross, Shelton, Wagler Victors at Auglaize County Fair Tractor Pull
Charlestown, IN (August 8, 2022) – Three great classes from the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League hit the track at the Auglaize County Fair in Wapakoneta, Ohio on August 6 in front of a vocal and appreciative audience. Classes representing the Champions Tour included the Unlimited Super Stocks, Summit Racing Mini Rods, and Pro Stock Tractors.
The evening kicked off with the Unlimited Super Stocks tested by the On the Mark sled. Eight machines answered the call to compete with Colin Ross taking the win on the diesel Triple Bypass McCormick followed by Josh Blackbourn wheeling both the Considered Armed and Dangerous-HD into second and the Extremely Armed and Dangerous into the third spot. It was Ross’ second win on the season in three tries.
The Summit Racing Mini Rods followed the Unlimited Super Stocks and the Lucas Oil-branded Nearpass Mini sled tested the seventeen machines in competition. With two hooks left in the class Grayson Shelton wheeled the Sawed Off machine into the top spot, wrestling away the lead from Dillon Bunnage and the Phoenix machine. Shelton would hold on for the win and would also take third with the machine named Splinter.
The evening closed out with eight tough Pro Stock Tractors. The class was led off by Justin Wagler and the Real Deere whose pass of 374.3 would stand the test of the class for the win. Kevin Masterson and the Tinker Toy was just a foot behind Wagler in second with Russ Yoder and the Xtra Butter Moline in third.
All three classes will be featured this weekend at the Hillsboro Charity Pull in Hillsboro, Wisconsin August 12th and 13th.
