Horsepower in Horse Country Delivers Doubleheader of Awesome Pulling Action

Charlestown, IN (August 22nd, 2022) – The Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, Kentucky was the stage for three classes from the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League during the Horsepower in Horse Country event held August 19th and 20th, 2022.

Hot Farm Tractors and Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks competed for Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region points while the Pro Stock Diesel Truck division waged a battle for Silver Series honors.

The first session on August 19th featured eighteen Hot Farm competitors with perennial class leader Michael Peters and the Hoosier Hooker IH holding the advantage at 323.66 until the final hook where Tyler Hamilton and the Undeeretaker Deere put the class to rest with a run of 323.70, less than a half-inch for the win. Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks also showed up in big numbers with twenty entries. Adam Kincaid and the Hill Brothers Dodge are no stranger to the top of this class and put together a pass of 321.11 for the win, besting the efforts of Jordan Jackson and the Billet Steel and Sex Appeal Dodge at 317.75. Pro Stock Diesel Trucks featured six stout entries with the defending class champion Scheid Diesel Dodge wheeled to the victory on this occasion by Brad Ingram at 322.32. Stoney Hargett and his Sound of Madness Dodge landed in he second spot at 320.29.

The second session was an exciting finale to the weekend with all three classes back once again to entertain the Shelby County crowd. Brian Rexing and his Milk Money IH took top honors, eclipsing the Hoosier Hooker IH, driven in this session by Austin Peters. Adam Kincaid backed up his Friday night win in Limited Pro Stock Diesel Truck with the Saturday night victory with Aaron Lafollette and the All In Dodge in second. Also doubling up for the weekend was the Scheid Diesel Dodge in Pro Stock Diesel Truck, piloted in this session by Brady Ingram with Matt Penn and the Penn Farms Dodge in second.
