Hirt Marches to First Mini Rod Tractor Title Presented by SCS Gearbox/Probell Racing
Sellersburg, IN (November 8th, 2023) – Jeff Hirt is no stranger to the top of a class on the Pro Pulling League, with multiple Champions Tour Unlimited Super Stock Titles under his belt with the "Fast Lane" and "Runnin' Bare" CaseIH machines. In 2022, Hirt built on that resume', entering the Mini Rod division presented by SCS Gearbox/Probell Racing, tackling the sport's highest-flying and fastest-growing class. With some success in the initial 2022 campaign, 2023 would see Jeff claim his first title in the class aboard the machine named "Lil Bare."
The title run, filled with points finishes no lower than sixth through the season, was not without challenges. Ultimately, Hirt's biggest threat came from the 1-2 punch of the father and son duo from Zeeland, Michigan, Bruce and Tyler Slagh. Tyler and his "Have No Mercy" machine finished just eight points out of the championship while Bruce and the "Show No Mercy" were 10 points out of first place. Hirt's other Mini Rod, the "B.Bare" entry, finished a solid fourth in points at the completion of the season at the Canfield Fair in Canfield, Ohio.
Congratulations to Jeff on his championship! Jeff, along with his fellow Mini Rod class peers, will be recognized and honored at the Pro Pulling League Champions Tour Banquet on Saturday November 18th at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky.

About Probell Racing:
Probell Racing Products Company, an SCS Gearbox Company, is a unique combination of racing, product and manufacturing expertise. The company began in the spring of 2005 based on the vision of Dave Flory, a long-time drag racing devotee who has been involved in the racing aftermarket for more than 25 years.
