Murphrey Oil signs on as sponsor
We are really excited to announce our next partnership with Murphrey Oil Company for our Inaugural event in 2023! We cannot make the Clash on the Coast happen without these great companies & it’s truly priceless with the friendships that we are making along the way.
Murphrey Oil Company has been involved in the oil industry for over 80 years. Dougie Murphrey & his family continue to operate & grow this company to this day, which is one of the biggest in that area. Dougie has followed in the footsteps of his grandpa & his dad, learning & working the Tullos, LA. oilfields & knowing them as good as anyone in them parts.
Dougie & his family have also been involved in the racing industry for over 27 years. He has sponsored many racers along the way, including USMTS Champion Jason Hughes. Also, he was the brain child of the Doug Murphrey Memorial, in memory of his dad Doug, which was one of the most sought after events in & around the large Ark-La-Tex area for many years.
Dougie’s son Kale is now taking the role on the racing side & learning the oil field business just like Dougie’s daddy taught him, & Doug’s daddy taught him. His daughter Allie is a stud on the softball field & has a bright future ahead of her as well. His wife & best friend Amy has a very successful boutique in Tullos also.
