IMCA Lone Star Stock Car Tour

Drivers have a chance to earn a free pass to the Sniper Speed Lone Star IMCA Stock Car Tour

IMCA Stock Car racers, who wants to save $300.00 on the tour? Here is your chance to save money while giving back to a great cause.

With the help of an anonymous donor and Jack Zimmerman, we are teaming up to raise money for the https://veteransafieldfoundation.org/. Now drivers, here is where the deal sweetens for you and your help.

We are raffling a 2015 Polaris Ranger with custom upgrades. This sweet unit has less than 400 miles and was used as a ranch shuttle. You must sell a minimum of 100 tickets by December 15th, 2019 to have your entry fee for the Sniper Speed Lone Star IMCA Stock Car Tour taken care of. Tickets are 1 for $10.00 and 6 for $50.00 with all proceeds going to the Veterans Afield Foundation. Tickets will be on sale at all tour events leading up to the Inaugural "Dirty 30", with the drawing before the IMCA Stock Car Feature on February 19th.

Zimmerman, who was raised in a small town in Minnesota, joined the U.S. Army and became an Airborne Infantryman. He deployed in 2010 with the legendary 101st Airborne Division. After spending nine months in heavy combat, Zimmerman, while on a foot patrol, stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and suffered catastrophic injuries. As he lie there, his own life flashed before his eyes, while the platoon medic and teammates worked to save him and the rest of his team engaged the enemy. Zimmerman was not expected to survive that day, but twenty surgeries and two years later, he left the San Antonio Military Medical Center and medically retired from the U.S. Army.

Back home, his friends, family and community rallied around him to offer their support. Zimmerman tackled many hurdles in his first months home and struggled to find his purpose after leaving the military. Through many opportunities to serve, both personally and professionally Zimmerman found his passion in speaking to others and inspiring through his unique and valued perspective. Jack was an Honorary Starter during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey's in September of 2019

Today, Zimmerman is a devoted husband and father and is a strong part of his community. Please watch this great video about Jack and his hunting adventure. https://go.mossyoak.com/honor/season:1/videos/honor-jack-zimmerman-final?fbclid=IwAR1ci7HeyMKeIgVwNIwqfjfPaiD-AepIGwsHzqc-RL8qdaxZ-alS1y1x0Q8

The Veterans Afield Foundation is a faith-based, program for veterans, first responders and gold star youth. It was founded by Dave Hentosh in 2018 as a 501(c)3 organization.

Universally, there is a peace and connection with our creator when we actively participate in the outdoors. These activities bring us inherently closer to God on our own level, and walls built by tragedy and the pressures of every day life begin to melt away.

Anyone who has experienced great tribulation is permanently altered at their most basic level. The physical scars and impediments often heal quicker than those of our emotional and mental being. In short we become slaves to our “condition”.

It is our mission to provide an avenue for renewal through hunting, fishing and other outdoor actives. Through the fellowship of group outings, the doors to healing are opened and a network of support is built.

Our goal is to provide an avenue for a new and abundant life.

"We at the Sniper Speed Lone Star IMCA Stock Car Tour are honored that we have been given the privilege to help with this great organization."
