SLMR Late Models Headed to ACS for Ray Houck Memorial

The cars and stars of the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series (SLMR) will make their first appearance of the season this Saturday June 3rd for the Annual Ray Houck Memorial, honoring former track promotor and race director Ray Houck.

Coming into the weekend defending series champion Jesse Sobbing holds down the top spot in the SLMR standings by virtue of his 3 wins to date on the season.

The action behind Sobbing is extra tight as the top seven drivers are separated by just 77 points. Tad Pospisil is just 12 points out of the top spot while Justin Zeitner sits third just 58 back. Zeitner dominated the SLMR action at ACS one years ago, winning both stops of the season. Josh Leonard, and Rookie Dylan Sillman round out the top five.

Six through ten includes the likes of former ACS Track Champion Bill Leighton, Jake Neal, Corey Zeitner, Curt Schroeder and Andrew Kosiski who is fresh off of a win this past Saturday at the Maquoketa Speedway.
