Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels Kicks Off Memorial Day Weekend at Attica Raceway Park Friday May 24

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (May 19, 2024) – The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will begin its 2024 racing season and kick off a Memorial Day Weekend tripleheader of racing at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH on Friday May 24, racing for $5,000 to win and $500 to start in the main event. The event is presented by RPM Performance Parts, Norwalk Concrete, Etna Supply, and Venture Visionary Partners.

The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be in action at Attica Raceway Park on Friday May 24 and will be in competition in a full program of Todd Steel Buildings “Building Speed” Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials presented by Brucebilt Performance, Heat Races, STAKT Products B-Mains, and the 40-lap, $5,000 to win/$500 to start Valvoline A-Main feature event. Joining the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels in competition at Attica Raceway Park on Friday May 24 will be the track’s 410 Winged Sprint Cars and 305 Winged Sprint Cars.

Activities at Attica Raceway Park on Friday May 24 will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m. and general admission area at 5:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:00 p.m., with Sprint Car engine heat at 6:15 p.m., and hot laps and time trials set to get underway at 6:30 p.m., followed followed immediately by green flag racing. Ticket prices at Attica Raceway Park on Friday May 24 in the general admission area will be $25 for adults while an adult pit pass will be $35.

The Valvoline Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Fronts and Rears: Hoosier NLMT 2 and Hoosier NLMT 3 anywhere on the car (there is no limit on the number of tires used; the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). The entry fee for the event is $50 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. Any driver not making the 22-car starting field will receive $75 tow money.
