Six IMCA divisions see Spring Nationals action at Beatrice

BEATRICE, Neb. ­– Six IMCA divisions fill race night cards at Beatrice Speedway’s 27th annual Spring Nationals.

IMCA Modifieds chase $2,500 checks in Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main events Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14. Both features pay a minimum of $250 to start and all Modified drivers are guaranteed $100 tow money.

IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms North­ern SportMods run for $1,000 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win each night. The Saturday evening Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $200 to win.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and E3 Spark Plugs Nebraska State points will be awarded in all divisions. Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks also chase regional points.

Weekend entry fees are $130 for Modi­fieds, $70 for Stock Cars and Northern SportMods and $50 for Late Models and Hobby Stocks. One-day entry fees are $80 for Modifieds, $45 for Stock Cars and SportMods, $35 for Hobby Stocks and $25 for Late Models. En­try fee for Sport Compacts is $10.

An open practice runs from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 for all divisions.

Gates open at 3 p.m. and rac­ing starts at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pits open at 1:30 p.m. and racing starts at 4 p.m. Satur­day.

Grandstand admission Friday and Satur­day is $20 for adults and $5 for kids ages 10 and under. Pit passes are $10 on Thursday and $30 on Friday and Saturday.
