Troutman lands a pair of podium finishes

Friday night found Drake Troutman in action at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) piloting his RFI Resources No. 7 Late Model entry. Picking up a heat race victory to open the evening, Troutman locked into the seventh-starting position for the A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Drake gained three spots to place fourth behind Ross Robinson, Tim Smith, and Nathan LaSalle with Chuck Clise coming in fifth. (Shawn Cooper Photography)

The following night at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pa.) for the Ultimate Northeast Series sanctioned program, Drake came in second in his heat behind Ryan Montgomery, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping one spot in the 40-lap affair, Troutman notched a third place finish behind Jared Miley and Ryan Montgomery with Tim Senic and Dan Angelicchio rounding out the Top-5.

On Sunday afternoon returning to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) to compete with the Mid Atlantic Modified Series, Drake landed a third place finish in the feature, trailing Cameron Campbell and Brandon Inglish across the line with Chris Chamberlain and Kyle Beckett completing the Top-5 finishers.
