Pair of Top-5 finishes at Bedford and Hagerstown

With the Renegades of Dirt doubleheader weekend cancelled, Drake Troutman made the short trip to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) on Friday to pilot his Smith Transport No. 7 Modified. Battling bearing issues throughout the feature, Troutman salvaged a fourth-place finish in the 20-lapper. He followed George Dixon, Mike Altobelli Jr., and Jonathan Taylor across the line with Jacob Whitt coming in fifth.

On Saturday afternoon at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.) for the Mid Atlantic Modified event, Drake gained one spot in his heat race to place second behind Cody Oliver. Starting the 25-lap feature in sixth, Troutman passed three cars to register a third-place outing. David Stremme and Mike Altobelli Jr. stood atop the podium while Ty Rhoades and Keith Jackson rounded out the Top-5.
