Sprint Invaders highlight Labor Day weekend action at The Bullring
VINTON, Iowa – The Sprint Invaders are back!
For the second time this season, the Sprint Invaders are set to take on the quarter-mile Benton County Speedway during the Labor Day Spectacular Sunday, September 3.
Cody Wehrle of Burlington topped a 21 car field of 360 Sprints at The Bullring during the first appearance by the Sprint Invaders this season on July 2. Another strong turnout is expected for Sunday’s event.
The Labor Day weekend show will also feature INEX Legends battling for a $2,500 winner’s share in the Midwest Dirt Shootout, billed as the highest paying Legends car race in the country.
Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts, American Iron Racing Series and Micro Mods will also be in action September 3.
Pit gate and grandstand both open at 3:30 p.m., with hot laps at 5:30 and racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for ages 6-14. Kids ages five and under will be admitted free if accompanying a paid adult.
Pit passes are $30.
