Championship Battles Heat Up at Billings Motorsports Park This Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (Aug. 2, 2016) – A trio of tight battles for championships at Billings Motorsports Park resume this Saturday.

The 3/8-mile oval hosts midwest modifieds, super stocks and street stocks with all three classes featuring multiple drivers in contention for track titles.

Cal Rossner holds an 11-point advantage in the midwest modifieds championship standings over Dennis Hurd and John Miner.

Both Rossner and Hurd have won at the track while Miner is seeking his first victory of the season. Cody Kuglin, who ranks fourth in the standings, Steven Stephenson, Doug LaPierre, Paul Leach and Dan Wheeler have also been victorious this year.

Two-time feature winner Jason George has a 13-point lead in the super stocks standings with Doug Blair ranked second and three-time winner Jeremy Meirhofer third – only 13 points out of the lead.

Besides George and Meirhofer the only other winner in the division this season is Jordan Tocci, who has two triumphs.

Robert Petroff has recorded two wins this season to build a 20-point edge in the street stocks championship standings over Troy Lorenz.

Cory Craver, Devin Kenaston, Dwayne Fowler and Dallas Whiting also have street stocks victories this year.

Tickets for Saturday’s event are $10 for adults; $7 for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old; $3 for children ages 7 to 11 years old; and free for children ages 6 and younger.

The pits are slated to open at 3 p.m. with the front gate opening at 5:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
